A Welcome From The Fáilte Center
A Message from Jim Horgan
For many years, I have been fortunate to be involved with Atlanta’s Irish community and to see firsthand just how much is happening throughout our area. There are concerts, festivals, Irish music sessions, dance, Gaelic games, cultural programs, language classes and gatherings taking place throughout the year. Yet it isn’t always easy to know what is happening or where to find the information.
That is why we created The Fáilte Center for Irish Culture and Sport and this website — to provide one place where Atlanta’s Irish community, and anyone with an interest in Ireland and Irish culture, can discover the many events, organizations and activities taking place across the metro Atlanta area.
As the Fáilte Center develops, we also hope to create and sponsor programs of our own. One of our first major projects will be bringing the award-winning Irish documentary All Our Yesterdays to Atlanta for a special screening in the spring of 2027.
Most of all, our goal is simple: to share our love of Ireland and Irish culture, bring people together, and help strengthen the wonderful Irish community we have here in Atlanta.

Preserving the Soul of Ireland
Irish heritage is something to be celebrated, shared and passed on. The Fáilte Center brings together the music, dance, language, sport, stories and traditions of Ireland while connecting people throughout the Atlanta area who share a love of Irish culture. We hope to honor the traditions that came before us while helping them thrive for generations to come.
